Farm and Eating Healthy – Time for Summer Vegetables

As part of our erasmus+ project «Think Green Act Clean», our Farm and Eating Healthy activity continues at full speed. Last week, we harvested the last remaining winter vegetables that we had planted in our school garden earlier in the season. Following this enjoyable and educational process, we have now started planting our summer vegetables.

Together with our students, we planted tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants, and okra. By getting their hands in the soil and working as a team, our students are learning the foundations of healthy eating and sustainable living through hands-on experience.

In the coming days, we will be using the compost we prepared months ago from kitchen waste to nourish these plants. This step will help us raise awareness about sustainable agriculture and effective waste management.

This journey from soil to table continues to strengthen our students’ respect for nature, environmental consciousness, and healthy lifestyle habits.
