Bisikletlerle Dip Gölü’ne Gittik
Yenipazar Merkez Ortaokulu 8. Sınıf öğrencileri “Think Green Act Clean” isimli iklim değişikliği ile mücadele konulu Erasmus+ projesi kapsamında bisiklet kullanımını yaygınlaştırarak karbon ayak izini azaltma konusunda farkındalık oluşturmak için Yenipazar’ın doğa güzelliklerinden biri olan Aşağı Dip Gölüne bisikletlerle gezi düzenlediler.
Burada bir müddet vakit geçiren öğretmen ve öğrenciler, daha sonra eldivenlerini giyip bölgede çevre temizliği yaptılar. Ardından yine bisikletlerle okullarına geri döndüler. Güvenliği sağlamak için gidiş ve dönüş güzergahlarında Polis ve Jandarma ekipleri de konvoya eşlik ettiler.
İspanya, Yunanistan ve Türkiye’den üç okulun ortak olarak yürüttüğü proje çerçevesinde Merkez Ortaokulu’ndan beş öğrenci ve üç öğretmen geçtiğimiz Nisan Ayında İspanya’da düzenlenen bir haftalık programa katılmış, benzeri etkinlikleri orada da yapmışlardı.
We Went to Dip Lake by Bicycles
The 8th-grade students of Yenipazar Merkez Secondary School organized a bike trip to Dipgölü, one of the natural beauties of Yenipazar, as part of the Erasmus+ project titled «Think Green, Act Clean,» which focuses on combating climate change. The purpose of the trip was to raise awareness about reducing carbon footprints by promoting the use of bicycles.
After spending some time at the lake, the teachers and students put on gloves and carried out a clean-up in the area. They then returned to their school by bicycle. To ensure safety, police and gendarmerie teams accompanied the convoy on the routes to and from the lake.
As part of the project, which is a collaboration between three schools from Spain, Greece, and Turkey, five students and three teachers from the Merkez Secondary School participated in a week-long program held in Spain last April, where they carried out similar activities.
